Leah Gould-Anthony

Leah has 9 years’ experience working as a psychologist and provides treatment for clients aged 16 and over, right through the spectrum of adulthood.  

Leah supports a wide range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol use, and trauma. 

Leah is compassionate, professional and non-judgemental.Leah’s strengths-based approach can incorporate techniques from a range of modalities. Leah has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and mindfulness. Leah works with each individual client to develop and implement a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. Leah has experience facilitating several groups including CBT based groups for anxiety, DBT groups for alcohol and other drug use, and assertive communication groups.

Leah is passionate about supporting individuals to create meaningful change in their lives and move towards positive mental health. 

Sarah Gomes

Sarah is a registered psychologist and has worked in the mental health and drug and alcohol sector for 4 years. Sarah has worked with a variety of mental health presentations and ages ranging from adolescents, young adults and adults. 

Sarah’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol dependence, personality disorders, trauma, mood disorders, self-harm and suicide. Sarah also has experience working with eating disorders, anger, self-identity and communication/ assertiveness skills. 

Sarah has been trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Sarah has been facilitating Dialectical Behaviour Therapy groups for the past 2 years with 16–24-year-olds with co-occurring mental health and drug and alcohol dependence presentations. Sarah also has experience facilitating multi-modal group therapy for adults with co-occurring mental health and drug and alcohol dependence presentations. 

Sarah is passionate about client-centered treatment and aims to identify client’s specific needs from counselling to tailor intervention plans to meet their goals. Sarah believes creating a strong relationship with each client is an integral part of therapy and likes to focus on the client-therapist relationship. She enjoys helping people create meaningful lives worth living driven by their values.
