Cherie has over 12 years experience working as a psychologist providing mental health care for adults, families, adolescents, and children. She supports her clients with a wide range of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety and trauma.
Cherie has many years experience helping clients with depression, anxiety and those who have experienced trauma. She has also worked extensively with parents of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ODD, CD, anxiety, depression, and sleeping, eating and toileting problems. Cherie also supports new parents with Post Natal Depression, and those experiencing difficulty settling their babies and toddlers.
Cherie has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Circle of Security Parenting (COS) and Mindful Meditation and uses an individualised approach to suit each clients’ needs.
She is passionate about psychology and has a firm belief in celebrating diversity and assisting people on their recovery journey.
