Treatment

Whether it be a bump in the road, major life crisis or an ongoing psychological issue, The Lighthouse Clinic is able to help. Some people will be helped by short term targeted treatments providing practical strategies and understanding. Others will require longer term therapy that addresses the core of the problem and work towards recovery. Some people will benefit from working directly with one clinician, while others may value input from the multidisciplinary team.

Our team includes a psychologist, dietitian and psychiatrist that have a broad range of experience and skill. These include nutrition and psychological education, CBT, mindfulness, ACT, DBT, Schema therapy, Motivational Interviewing and group therapy. Dr Andrew McKensey also treats more complex psychiatric treatments using psychodynamic therapies. A multidisciplinary team approach is adopted for conditions such as eating disorders.
